Information about the treatment of personal data (under article 13 of the Italian Legislative Decree of June 30th, 2003 n. 196,)
The Italian code regarding the protection of personal data(Leg. Decr. 196/03) foresees the protection of individuals and of other subjects with regard to the treatment of personal data. In accordance with this law the processing of personal data will be carried out in conformity with the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and for the protection of your privacy and rights.
In this section we have correlated the Information Pursuant to art. 13 of the Italian Legislative Decree No 196 of 30th (Code regarding the protection of personal data) with the different types of site user.

Aim and conditions of Data treatment
The personal data is processed in the company headquarters with the scope of permitting the use of the services offered by this web site which include:
Supplying their customer with after sales assistance for products distributed by Cardin Elettronica S.p.A.
Supplying authentication credentials in order to allow the customer to use the free product consultation and commercial information services for products distributed by Cardin Elettronica S.p.A.
Giving the customer information regarding products distributed by Cardin Elettronica S.p.A. that are available for sale.
The management protocol, regarding the data necessary for the classification of incoming mail, for address books or similar that is not to be circulated and only to be used for working reasons.
Fulfilling the specific legal obligations, only in reference to the data category, of the interested parties and recipients of the communication and its diffusion strictly connected with that fulfilment and retaining the data no longer than is necessary to fulfil the aforementioned obligations. 
Data processing is carried out by staff charged with the treatment of such data or by any other staff in charge of temporary maintenance operations.
Personal data is processed by automated devices for the time that is strictly necessary for achieving the purposes of data collection. Specific security measures are taken for preventing any data loss, any unlawful or improper use and any unauthorized access.
Personal data supplied by users who have requested specific services will be only be to carry out the service requested and will only be communicated to third parties where absolutely necessary to fulfil that request.
No data obtained through use of the web site services will be communicated or released.

Navigation data
During normal operations, the computer systems and the software procedures used for the web site acquire items of personal data from users who connect to the site; the flow of such data is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. Our Internet site uses cookies to recognise and remember visitors with the aim of allowing them to navigate more rapidly and to modify the contents of the site according to their preferences. The data gathered by the site is neither communicated to third parties nor disseminated in any way.

Information for customers and suppliers
Cardin Elettronica S.p.A. inform you that in order to set up and carry out contractual relations they become the holder of personal and fiscal data relating to their customers, acquired verbally, directly or via third parties. This data is deemed to be personal data according to article 4 of the Leg. Decr. 196/03.

Aim and conditions of data treatment
The data shall be processed in paper form and/or by means of magnetic, electronic or telematic support so as to ensure in any event the privacy of the data according to law as well as to ensure the efficient management of the commercial relationship.
In particular the data will be processed:
for preliminary requirements prior to stipulating a contract;
in order to permit correct accounting and drawing up financial reports;
for the management of credit and commercial operations;
for the management protocol, regarding the data necessary for the classification of incoming mail, for address books or similar that is not to be circulated and only to be used for working reasons;
for the fulfilment of specific legal obligations, only in reference to the data category, of the interested parties and recipients of the communication and its diffusion strictly connected with that fulfilment and retaining the data no longer than is necessary to fulfil the aforementioned obligations. 

Supplying or refusing to supply data
The supply of certain data for legal or contractual reasons is obligatory and for such reason refusal to provide such data or consent to their subsequent processing may prevent the undersigned company from initiating contractual relations.
Your refusal to provide data not obligatory for legal or contractual purposes, on the other hand, will be assessed by the undersigned company case by case and lead to consequent decisions regarding the importance of such data in the management of the commercial relationship.

Third parties to whom the data may be communicated and disseminated
While the communication and disclosure of the data made in execution of obligations by law and/or by contract remain valid, such data can be disclosed in Italy and/or abroad to:

credit institutions;
credit recovery institutions;
credit insurance companies;
companies dealing with commercial information;
professionals and consultancy services;
companies working in the transport sector.
Strictly for the purposes of credit protection and to ensure the best possible efficiency in the management of our rights relating to each single commercial relationship the above-mentioned data may be communicated to the following responsible parties:
Banking institutions, for the collection and payment of monies deriving from the execution of the contracts;
Companies, consortiums and associations whose aim is to safeguard credit;
Accounting and fiscal management professionals and consultants;
The data will treated for the entire duration of the contractual relationship established and also subsequently for the fulfilment of legal obligations as well as for future trade purposes.
The data received will not be communicated to other third parties and will not be disseminated in any other way.

Allowing the processing of data for trade purposes 
Without any communication to the contrary from you, we deem that you consent to the processing of your data for the aforesaid purposes. Moreover, if desired, the interested party may express his/her specific consent to the processing of personal data in order to receive trade communications telephonically, by post or via telefax regarding updates and other commercial information relative to Cardin Elettronica S.p.A. products

Rights of the interested party
The interested parties (customers, suppliers, web site users and other legitimate categories) may exercise all their rights as guaranteed by article 7 of Leg. Decr. 196/03, within the limits and condition foreseen by articles 8, 9 and 10 of the aforementioned legislative decree.

Art. 7. The right to access personal data and sundry rights
1. The interested party has the right to be informed about the existence (or not) of his/her personal data, even if not registered, and the right of clear communication
2. The interested party has the right to know:
a) the origin of his personal data;
b) the purpose and method of processing;
c) the logics applied in the event of processing being carried out with the aid of electronic equipment;
d) the name of the controller, the person in charge, and the representative appointed as per Art. 5, comma II;
e)the persons or groups, in a representative, management or employee position in the territory of Italy,  to whom the personal data may be communicated or their existence could be made known to .
3. The interested party has the right to obtain:
a) the updating, correction or, should he or she be interested, the integration of the data;
b)  the cancellation, transformation, in anonymous form or the blockage of any data processed unlawfully, including those whose storage is not necessary in relation to the aims for which the data were collected or later processed;
c) a statement that the operations indicated in letters a) and b), including their content, have been made known to those to whom the data have been communicated or released, except in the case of this being found to be impossible or requiring the use of means which are clearly disproportionate to the protected rights.
4. The interested party has the right to completely or partially oppose:
a) for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data regarding him/her, even if relevant to the aims of their collection;
b) the processing of personal data regarding him/her for the purpose of sending publicity material, direct sales or for carrying out market research or trade communications.
